How a Circular Knitting Machine Releases and Lowers the Fabric (Shake-down Process)

1 Before Starting the Process

Make sure the fabric roll is properly fixed on the fabric take-up frame.
Check that the take-down system, shaking lever, and fabric path are unobstructed.

2 Activate the Fabric Shake-Down Mechanism

Start the shake-down function from the control panel.
The shaking bar begins small up-and-down movements to release tension from the fabric surface.

3 Fabric Falls Smoothly Through the Take-Down System

As the shaking continues, the fabric loosens layer by layer and is pulled down evenly by the take-down rollers.
The tension is automatically balanced to prevent wrinkles or overstretching.

4 Fabric Tube Drops Smoothly to the Receiving Area

The fabric tube slides down smoothly into the receiving frame or fabric bucket.
The entire process is stable and quiet, protecting fabric quality with no misfeeding.

5 Shake-Down Completed, Ready for Normal Knitting

After the fabric is fully lowered, the machine is ready for normal operation.
The system automatically monitors tension and pulling speed to ensure consistent fabric density.
